Mothers Day....

Mothers day was really wonderful. We spent time with Buddy's mama... had lunch, walked around, and had dessert (gelato yumminess). I did miss my own mama, but I really enjoyed spending time with my AZ one. :)

Feeling so very thankful for the amazing mothers in my life.
Love you all!
xoxo

Paperversary...

A month ago B and I celebrated our first wedding anniversary. Instead of doing crazy expensive gifts we decided to stick with the traditional paper gift. We never got a chance to write vows to each other for our wedding, so we decided our gifts to each other for our one year would include vows and paper. The presentation was up to us. My gift to B was a little kraft notebook filled with vows and little love notes. For B's gift he had a graphic design friend of his make the vows he wrote into pretty art and had it custom framed. In other words, he made my little notebook look like poop. He of course insists that he absolutely loves it.

Here are a couple of  photos from when we exchanged them.
Please excuse the "we're about to go to the the gym" look. :)

Enjoy the rest of your week!

Blooming!

A few months ago my father-in-law started a beautiful home garden (see post here). I'm in awe of how much produce already comes from it! We harvested some greens while we were there a few days ago and had the best salad ever the other night. There really is a huge taste difference between what you get in a store and what you get fresh from the garden. I can't wait to start a garden of my own.

We are currently in Flagstaff enjoying some relaxation and time with friends. Hope you're having a beautiful weekend!
